I am a French engineer with a geological background but looking to expand my skills by trying new jobs. I am curious and I love discovering new cultures with my wife and 2 kids. Travelling is also the occasion for me to fish new species around the world.
The installation in Hong Kong has been pretty smooth and easy from a personal point of view. The change of job was a bit hectic at the begining, but you quickly get into the pace and learn very quickly.
We are 3 Bridges on the project, we see each other every day and the ambiance is good, it helps a lot to get your bearings.
In addition, Gerhard Schröder, former German Prime Minister, came to the site to visit the TBMs, throwback to the old days!
As soon as I arrived, the first places I visited were the centre of Hong Kong, and of course the Peak, an iconic spot with an absolutely magnificent view.
What’s the best thing about being here? The weather! It’s so nice to have the opportunity to go to the beach every weekend…
I didn’t have a lot of space in my lugagge but still managed to take my guitar with me.
