French born in England, living in foreign countries has always been in my identity. The Bridges Programme brought me to Hong Kong where, as a rugby fan, I discovered the Hong Kong Sevens, one of the world most special rugby events! … before discovering Guinea Conakry.
In June, I participated with some colleagues to the Hong Kong “Dragon boat” race, which is a race between over 120 boats with 18 members per boat male and female.
This race is a traditional Chinese paddled watercraft activity for over 2000 years. We did a good race and well represented Bouygues in Hong Kong !
Gelato at work? What a treat! Beat the heat and humidity in Hong Kong
That’s it, we’ve landed in Hong Kong. So many changes! The first place I visited on arrival was Victoria Peak, a mountain in the western part of the island. The top of the Peak is equipped with an observatory, accessible by funicular. I really enjoyed it!
I think the most striking thing since my arrival has been the weather. It’s been magnificent, very sunny. And as I’m a foodie, I was really excited about trying Chinese food!
